Last week, my partner and I had the pleasure of welcoming a few of our clients and friends to the firm for an afterwork gathering.
Beyond discussions about their legal challenges, it was also an opportunity to talk about what truly matters in our profession: being present, available, and responsive — long before an issue arises.
At our firm, we strongly believe that a lawyer’s role is not limited to representing clients before the courts, nor to being someone clients only see again when a judgment is handed down or a deal is closed. We see ourselves as accessible partners, involved on a daily basis in the success of our clients’ projects and businesses.
Our guests come from very different industries — healthcare, banking, insurance, tech, agriculture, and services — and from organizations of all sizes, from startups to large corporations. Each has their own journey and story, with successes, doubts, and sometimes a few preconceptions. Yet they all share the same expectation: to be listened to, understood, and supported in managing their business activities and securing their projects with clarity and confidence.
