Nasser Benwahoud

Nasser handles complex operations where legal expertise serves strategy: mergers and acquisitions, financing, capital markets, banking and insurance law, competition, and corporate governance. He also advises foreign investors with an integrated service approach covering contractual, regulatory, employment and immigration matters.


Before co-founding NY Law, Nasser practised in Paris at Grant Thornton, then at the French business law firm 28 Octobre, where he notably contributed to the defence of Jérôme Kerviel in the case brought against him by Société Générale. Upon returning to Morocco, he joined the legal department of Attijariwafa Bank for two years, before leading the legal practice of EY Morocco for seven years.
